How much did toll prices increase?
Recently, a meeting of Yamuna Authority was held regarding increasing the type of toll tax on Yamuna Expressway. In which it was decided that now the toll tax rates on the expressway will be increased. Toll tax rates have increased by 4%. Earlier the rate of two wheelers was Rs 1.30 per kilometer. So now the new rates will be Rs 1.50. If the price of jeep and car was 2.70, it will become 2.95. The rate of light commercial vehicle was Rs 4.35, now it will be Rs 4.70. The per kilometer for bus and truck was Rs 8.95, now it will be Rs 9.35. The rate for heavy construction vehicles which was Rs 12.90 will now become Rs 13.35 and for over sized vehicles the rate which was earlier Rs 17.60 will now become Rs 18.1.

After the implementation of new type of toll tax from October 1, if you go from Greater Noida to Agra by car, then you had to pay Rs 270, whereas now you will have to pay Rs 295. So where buses had to pay Rs 895. So now they will have to pay Rs 935, earlier toll tax for oversized vehicles was Rs 1760, now they will have to pay Rs 1835.

Prices have increased so far
Operations on Yamuna Express started in the year 2012. At that time, one had to pay Rs 2.10 per kilometer for the car. Apart from this, buses and trucks had to pay Rs 6.60 per kilometer. Whereas heavy vehicles had to pay Rs 10.10. After this, in the year 2014 the price for a car increased from Rs 2.10 to Rs 2.50. For buses and trucks, it increased from Rs 6.60 to Rs 7.5. For heavy vehicles, it increased from 10.10 to 12.05. There was an increase again in the year 2022 due to which the car rate increased from Rs 2.50 per kilometer to Rs 2.65. The rates for buses and trucks increased from Rs 7.5 to Rs 8.45, for heavy construction vehicles it increased from Rs 12.05 to Rs 12.90 per kilometer and for oversea vehicles it increased from Rs 15.55 to Rs 18.80 per kilometer.
